George Gomez and Paul Canady met in 2014 while working for a semi-custom home builder in Houston. George began his career in 2005 while earning his Accounting degree from the University of Houston. He started in warranty service and worked his way up through the field, eventually discovering his passion in custom homebuilding. Paul also graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in history and entered the industry shortly after college. He quickly realized he wanted to build something of his own and approached George about starting a company together.
Their combined years of experience, along with their shared values and complementary strengths, laid the foundation for Res Com Custom Builders. That experience is what allows us to bring creativity, clarity, and confidence to every job. We treat each home as if it were our own and stay directly involved from start to finish. Res Com came highly recommended to us after completing our daughter’s attic into a beautiful 2 bedroom, bathroom and game room a few years ago. After seeing the very high standard they achieved, we knew we would be using them for our bathroom renovations, and the quality and workmanship is perfect.
